Bhatkal: In a tragic road accident that happened here on Sarpankatta NH-66 in Bhatkal, a car driver crashed into a parked lorry, as a result, he was injured and shifted to Bhatkal government hospital. The accident happened on Sunday night around 11 PM.

The injured, Santhosh Devadiga (27), was heading towards Bhatkal railway station to receive one of his relative, wherein his car rammed into a parked truck on the roadside on Sarpankatta NH-66, after the truck driver had alighted to fetch breakfast parcels from a nearby hotel.

Santosh received multiple injuries over his hand and was taken to Bhatkal government hospital for treatment. The car was reportedly damaged due to the impact of collision.
