Udupi: A youth bike rider was killed instantly on the spot, when a bike in which he was moving in met a head-on collision with the private bus, that happened on 29th July, Saturday in Padubidri.

The deceased is identified as Avinash Devadiga (28 yrs) of Kemundelu in Yellur in the district.

According to the sources, Avinash was riding from Padubidri to Mulki when the express bus, came from the wrong side and rammed head-on into his bike.

The impact was so severe that Avinash died on the spot as his bike came underneath the wheels of the bus.

A case stands registered at Padubidri police station.
