Bhatkal: The body of a tourist from Chamarajanagar, who had drowned in the sea at Murdeshwar on March 18, was found at Sanbhavi beach in Bhatkal taluk on Tuesday late night.

The deceased has been identified as Madappa Shivanna Madiwal Shetty of Chamarajanagar.

The body was handed over to the family after conducting the post mortem at the Government Hospital in Murdeshwar on Wednesday. 

Murdeshwar police have registered a case in this connection.
