Kasargod: The dead body of a person alleged of murder was found hanging in his room on 14th August, Monday.

The deceased Ravindra (48 yrs), was a resident of Chami Kocchi in the taluk. He was accused of killing a relative regarding a quarrel for family property in the year 2014.

Sources say, the hearing regarding the case was about to begin soon in the District and Sessions court. The suspicious death of Ravindra at this point of the trial has left his family members in a state of shock and are expressing doubt.

After an investigation, the police have sent the body to Pariyaram Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.

A case has been registered at the town police station.
