Mangaluru: The body of a fishermen who had gone missing after a fishing boat capsized off the coast of Paduvari village in Udupi district was found on the seashore at Ammanavara Toppalu on Saturday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Charan Kharvi (25) of Alvekody, police sources said.

Two fishermen had gone missing after their boat capsized due to turbulent sea when they were returning to the shore on Friday night. The search is on for the other missing fisherman.

The other crew of the ill-fated boat were rescued by fishermen from another boat, the sources said.
