Udupi: A mechanised fishing boat that left for deep-sea fishing capsized on Wednesday, however all the fishermen were rescued.

According to the sources, the fishing boat from Malpe port capsized two nautical miles away from Malpe in the Arabian sea, while all the seven fishermen were rescued by fishermen from other fishing boats and were brought to the shore.

It is said, the boat ‘Bahubali’ was owned by Girish Suvarna and estimated that Rs 80 lakh loss has been incurred by the owner, and diesel along with fishing equipment were lost due to the capsizing of boat.
