Bhatkal: A blood donation camp was organised by Welfare Hospital Bhatkal in association with the Bhatkal Government Hospital and Udupi Government Hospital Blood Bank was held at Hospital premises here in Bhatkal on Saturday.  

After inaugurating the camp, chief Guest of the function, Dr. Savita Kamat, Medical Officer of Bhatkal Taluka Hospital said ,“Donating blood also keeps a person healthy. Go ahead and save lives, One unit of blood can save more than three lives.

On this occasion Bhatkal Assistant Commissioner Sajid Ahmed Mulla who also donated blood and said everyone should come forward to donate blood as we can help other.

Dr. Veena, Medical Officer Blood Bank Udupi, Dr. Mohammed Rafique Welfare Hospital, Dr. Syed Abdul Khader, Abdul Ala Barmawar, Yunus Ruknuddin, Nazeer Kasimiji, Iqbal Suhail and many others were present.

Vice president of Islamic Welfare Society Syed Saluhuddin SK preside over the function.
