Karwar: BJP workers staged a protest in front of deputy commissioner’s office on 19th July, Wednesday, condemning the killing of pro-Hindu activists in the state.
The agitators said, pro-Hindu workers were being killed by anti-nationals. Congress led State government was instigating such murders. The Congress government was doing this to appease minorities. Naveen Pujari, Sharat Madiwala and other Hindu leaders were murdered by trained killers.
But the government was not making any efforts in nabbling the culprits.”Popular Front of India(PFI) and (KFD) are responsible for communal violence in Dakshina Kannnda district.
Government must ban these anti-social and anti-national organisations to maintain communal harmony and maintain law and order. Minister Ramanath Rai should exert pressure on the State government to hand over Bantwal violence case to National Investigation Agency (NIA) for probe,”they said.
