Kumta: A bike rider was injured after coming in collision with a speeding car on Maneer NH66 in the outskirts of Kumta on Tuesday morning.

The injured is identified as Ganesh Patgar, a resident of Mirzan in Kumta.

He was taken to Kundapur hospital for advanced treatment after giving first aid at Kumta government hospital.

A case has been registered in Kumta Police station.
