Bhatkal: Two youths were injured seriously, after the bike they were moving in was hit by a regularly plying bus, that reported near Nawayath colony NH66 in Bhatkal on 17th febraury, Friday.

The grievously injured youths have been identified as Adnan (19) and Moosa (19), both residents of Haneefabad in Bhatkal.

The incident took place when the bike was on the way towards Shamsuddin circle from Haneefabad, while the bus was all on the way towards Bijapur from Udupi. Eye witness say, during the incident, the bike was moving with a non-controllable speed that led to hit the bus, approaching from the opposite direction. This made the bike victims suffer grievous injuries over the legs, later which they were rushed to Kundapur hospital after giving initial treatments at Bhatkal govt hospital. The bus belonged to KSRTC. 

As the information spread, hundreds of people rushed at Bhatkal govt hospital.
