Bhatkal: In the view of the upcoming Vidhana Sabha elections in the state, P S Pai and other leaders of Hindu Jagarna Vedike, which is attached to right wing organizations are trying to create a tense environment between Hindus and Muslim in the town by using the TMC shops issue as the base.

Addressing at the press conference held at the office of Majlis e Islah Wa Tanzeem on 25th September, Monday, president Mr. Muzammil Kazia said, “Tanzeem strongly condemns such political tricks of spreading communal hatred. The Bhatkal TMC issue is a legal, technical and administrative matter. Connecting it to Tanzeem and Muslims is nothing more than a conspiracy for spreading hatred against Muslims.”

“The TMC shops issue was faced by shop owners of both Muslims as well as Hindu community and even we are sad about Ramachandra’s death. What happened to him was a tragedy and our sympathies are with the family”, he added.

He further said that these acts of right wing activists unnecessarily pulling Muslim community and Majlis e Islah Wa Tanzeem in the TMC matter, which is completely a legal and administrative issue, calling Madrasas as Bomb making factories and targeting Tanzeem are proof of their enmity and hostility towards Muslims.

He also clarified that the Tanzeem members present in the Bhatkal Muncipality office had prepared a report supporting the needs of the vendors and sent it to Deputy Commissioner three times. We wanted that the shops be alloted to the old vendors itself. However, if the DC does not accept the proposal, it is wrong to blame Tanzeem regarding the matter.

He also requested that our Non-Muslim brothers must not fall into the clumps of these political tricks which are intended to cause communal disturbance in the city. We must stay away from such hatred being tried to spread with political agendas.

Tanzeem General secretary Mohiddin Altaf Kharoori, Secretary Moulvi Syed Yasir Barmawar Nadvi and other administrative members were present at the press conference.
