Bhatkal: A Bhatkali student and a football player Muhammed Raif Gangavali, who is studying at SDM Law College in Mangalore, has been crowned with the title of University Blue for third consecutive year for his excellent performance in the field, and has elected to represent team of Karnataka State Law University, Hubli at Inter University Football Tournament which is expected to be held in Vellore in Tamil Nadu.

After completing his Bachelor's Degree from Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce college from Bhatkal, Muhammed Raif is now pursuing a law degree at SDM College in Mangalore.

Speaking in this regard, Raif's father and a Journalist of Bhatkal,  Mr. Muhammad Rizwan Gangavali said that Muhammed Raif was playing football for BIFA team in Bhatkal. While in the BCom sixth semester, he had already played as a first time University blue representing Karnataka University Dharwad in Inter University Tournament.

According to Rizwan, he was elected as University Blue from his college last year after joining SDM Law college, Mangalore, and now he has been selected to be University Blue from his college again, thus having succeeded in receiving the title of University Blue for three consecutive times.

On his achievements, Bhatkal Inter Football Association (BIFA) along with Bhatkal Muslim Youth Federation have congratulated him and expressed their best wishes for his future endeavors.
