Bhatkal: The senior professor of  Mechanical department in Anjuman Institute of Technology and Management (AITM) Dr. K Fazlur Rahman was awarded ‘Karnataka Bhusan’ award on 28th July, Friday, for his dedication in field of education.

Fazlur Rahman has been teaching in AITM since 20 years. He has completed Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering at VTU, Belguam in 2014. He is specialized in composite materials, processing of materials and Nano technology.

He was awarded by state sponsored ‘Karnataka Saanskiritika Academy’ Bengaluru​ at Nayana Sabhangana, Ravindra Kalashetra premises in Bengaluru city on Friday.

During the programme, many eminent personalities in the field of social services, industry and education were awarded.

Management of AHM, Principal of AITM Dr. Mushtaque Ahmed Bhavikatti, Vice principal Dr. H M Phalachandra and all the faculty members congratulated him for the award.

Speaking at the juncture, Dr. K Fazlur Rahman thanked all the members of AHM, the principal, vice principal, staff and parents, Janab K Abdul Hannan, late Safoora Bi for their support and encouragement.
