Bhatkal: "Three students of the Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen's Islamia Anglo Urdu High School, have been selected for the state level sports in the high school division after achieving success in district level," said Shabbir Ahmad Dafedar, the headmaster of the institute.

Speaking to media persons, he said that Faiz Ahmed Muhammad Mazhar secured first place in Pole vault making his way into state level. Also, Zeeshan Zafarullah won first place in Hammer throw and Taufiq Ahmed RK placed second in the hammer throw, getting qualified for state level sports. The district level sports had held at Ankola on Monday.
