Bhatkal: Ahead of vaccination against COVID for NRIs and above 45 years old in Bhatkal on Monday onwards, Majlise Islah Wa Tanzeem chaired press meet here at Tanzeem hall.
Talking to press persons, Dr. Haneef Shabab, media co-ordinator of Tanzeem, informed, the NRIs of Bhatkal and those above 45 years of age will be allowed to get vaccinated Monday onwards at Rabita hall in Nawayath Colony in the city. The vaccination program shall begin from 7th June, Monday, 9 AM onwards, wherein separate counters will be installed for NRIs and general public. It shall be noted that NRIs who have enrolled their details with Tanzeem should collect their token from Tanzeem counter located opposite to Life Care hospital, and they have to carry their passport while arriving for vaccination. While the general public can straight away reach Rabita hall at 9 AM along with Adhar card.
People arriving for vaccination have been strictly asked to obey COVID norms by wearing face masks and maintaining social distancing. Other than Rabita hall, the taluka administration have set-up vaccination centers at Asarkeri and Nagayakshi hall in Mankuli for general public.
On this occasion, Tanzeem appealed the citizens of Bhatkal to make the most of this opportunity and get vaccinated to bring the end of Coronavirus.
