Bhatkal: One among the prominent personalities of Bhatkal, Dr. SM Syed Saleem, has been elected as the College Secretary of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Bhatkal and he has been entrusted with all the responsibilities of Degree College and PG Center including Anjuman Boys' and Girls' PU College. He was elected in the Anjuman's executive meet on Saturday.

Earlier in 1986, Dr. Saleem had held the post of Auditor and then the post of Treasurer. Similarly, in the last term of Anjuman, he had also served as the Secretary of BBA, BCA and B.Ed College Board.

It may be recalled, the office bearers for the administration of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen were elected during a meeting held on February 23 this year, in which Mr. Mohsin Shahbandari was elected as the secretary of Anjuman College, but after a few months, he had resigned from the administration. After accepting his resignation on August 8, the place was filled today.  Similarly, in today's meet, Mr. Mohsin Shabandari has been replaced with Mr. Musaddiq Ali Akbara in Anjuman's executive.

However, to fill the vacant post, Dr Syed Saleem was elected unanimously in a executive meeting that held today.
