Bhatkal: COVID vaccination for degree students at Anjuman college on Saturday

Bhatkal: COVID Vaccination will be given on Saturday at Anjuman Degree College for Women and at two other degree colleges on Monday in the taluka. 

Accoring to the press release issued by Bhatkal Tahsildar Ravi Chandra, Vaccination program will be conducted at Anjuman Women Degree College on Saturday, July 3, 2021, while on July 5, 2021 the vaccination drive will be held at Sawkhya B.Ed College, Bhatkal and Beena Vaidya Degree College, Murdeshwar.

In Anjuman Degree College for Women, Principal of the College Ms. Rayeesa Shaikh has been appointed as the Supervisor and Shrimati Deepa Kamath, Lecturer of the College has been nominated as the Nodal Officer. Principal Ms Rayeesa Shaikh informed that vaccination drive will begin at Anjuman college at 10 AM till evening. 

Students are requested to bring their Aadhaar card and college ID card with them when they arrive at the college for vaccination. Students should strictly abide to COVID norms by wearing mask and maintaining a social distance.

Similarly, at Sawkhya B.Ed College, Bhatkal, Principal Swetha PB appointed as Supervisor and Lecturer Narayan Patgar has been nominated as Nodal Officer, while Dr. Jagannath Gonda, Principal of Beena Vaidya College, Murdeshwar will be the Nodal Officer.

According to reports, as the number of COVID cases in Karnataka are declining, the state government has decided to start classes for degree colleges in July. But to attend the classes, students have to get a COVID vaccine.

It is beleived that everyone in college must be vaccinated while attending the classes. Students must have a COVID vaccine certificate for admission, class attendance and participation in the exam in near future and according to experts,  any time in the future, the need for a certificate of COVID vaccine may be required, so it is important to avail the facilities provided by the Government.
