Bhatkal: Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen is all set to go for elections on January 29, to elect its new executive for the period of next four years.
The election has turned out to be a prestigious issue for leaders of the Muslim community to take control of the institute.
Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen election dates were announced on Wednesday by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Ishaque Shabandri.
The election for 23 seats of Bhatkal will be held on 29th January 2020 at Jukaku Shamshuddin Memorial administrative block. The counting of the votes has been scheduled on January 30.
The date for filing nominations for elections started from 25th December 2019 till 7th January 2020, said the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC).
The last date for filing nomination is January 8. Scrutiny will take place on January 15 and the last day for withdrawal is January 18. Final lists of candidates will release on January 21.
