Bhatkal: AITM celebrates 39th College Day

Bhatkal: Anjuman Institute Of Technology and Management, Bhatkal observed its 39th College Day on 29th April, Monday.

Philipose K G, Director-Operations Kirby Building Systems, Hyderabad, was present as the chief guest in the event, while Shrikanth Naik, Senior Vice President and Global head, Quest Global Service, Bengaluru, was the guest of honor. Both are also the Alumnus of AITM, Bhatkal.

Speaking in the event, Chief guest, Philipose K G, spoke on the importance of discipline. He made the engineers as the decision makers as engineers are known for making the world, nation etc. "We have a chance to exhibit our ideas to create this world. India is growing economically and being a product of Anjuman can be pillars of each place", he noted.

Guest of honour Shrikanth Naik too addressed the event and explained about the growing technologies and how it can be made use of.

Meanwhile on the occasion, Vice Principal Dr. Phalachandra H.M and Dr. Basavaraj MV were felicitated for achieving Doctorate and Mushfira Shabandari, a student who bagged 9th rank for the university in MBA examinations conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgavi in 2018 was also felicitated and awarded with cash prize of 10,000 rupees from Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen.

The program which was chaired by Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen's (AHM) additional general secretary Ishaque Shabandari, began with the recitation of versus from Holy Quran by Hafiz Abdul Muqeet, followed with the Anjuman anthem by Ali Murtuza and team. 

Vice Principal of AITM, Dr. Phalachandra HM welcomed the guests and students, while Prof Anant Murty Shastry and Prof TMP Rajkumar introduced the guests. Annual report for the academic year 2018-19 was presented by Principal Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Bhavikatti and vote of thanks was delivered by general secretary of Students' Association Syed Mohammad Raabi.

Farasha Ayyub and Daniya Rukiya SM served as the anchors in the event.

On this occasion AHM general secretary Siddique Ismail Saheb, AITM secretary Khasimji Abubakar Ali Saheb, Degree College Board Secretary Mohsin Shabandri,Cultural secretary of Students' Association Mohammed Arfa, and many others were present.
