Bhatkal: One more accused was arrested on Thursday in the murder of Affan Jabali case, whose body was found at a private lodge in Bhatkal on Saturday.

The arrested accused is identified as Siraj, aged 32, from Bantwal in Dakshina Kannada district.

Siraj was arrested and produced in the Bhatkal JMFC court on Thursday.

It may be noted that Muhammad Iqbal Shaikh, a resident of Muglihonda was arrested soon after the incident.

It is being alleged that Iqbal Shaikh with the help of 5 others murdered Affan Jabali at a lodge on 19 October. Police are searching for four others who are still absconding.
