Bhatkal: A student from Bhatkal has got an opportunity to display his scientific model at international level, after his fuel-less waste collection model, was presented with ‘Inspired award’ in Delhi recently.

The student Mudhu Manjunath, a student of Tenginagundi Government Higher Primary School in Bhatkal taluk.

The science model created by Manjunath can collect waste from all the water bodies without wasting any fuel. The model operates on mechanical force.

The model has been appreciated as a solution for the Clean India mission.
