Bhatkal SSLC toppers aspire to become doctors, engineers

Bhatkal: Students who topped the SSLC examinations, the results of which were announced on Monday, attribute their success to hard work and support from teachers, parents and friends.

Aditi Uday Pai, who occupied the first place in Bhatkal taluk at SSLC examinations, has a scored 619 out of 625. A student of St. Thomas English Medium High School Shirali, she got 123 out of 125 in English, 100 in Kannada and Hindi, 99 in mathematics and Social Science and 98 in Science.
 
Aditi is a daughter of Uday Pai, Senior officer at cooperative bank and former teacher’s Megha Pai.

Speaking with SahilOnline, Aditi Pai said that she had strict study routine with extra curricular activitis like singing, drawing and dancing. “Hard work is something that I live by. I want to join in medical field,” she said.

Prakruti Chandrakant Nayak of RNS Vidaynekaten High School, Murdeshwar has secured third place in Bhatkal taluk with 98.08% marks and scored cent percent in Kannada and Hindi, 124 in English, 98 in Science, 99 in Social Science, and 92 in Mathematics.  

Speaking to SahilOnline, Prakruti said, “Though I was confident that I get good marks, the revision of syllabus more than once in school helped me a lot. It was very important to stay self-motivated in order to cope up with the work, and that to achive in her success, she added. "I studied as per my timetable when I come home and I am happy with my results," said Prakruti who too aspires to pursue MBBS and to be a good surgeon.

Prakruti Nayak also writes stories, poetry etc as her hobby. She is a daughter of a Businessmen Chandrakanth Nayak and Sushma, a housewife. 

Partha Pai, a student of Vidya Bharthi English Medium High School Bhatkal has secured 98.72% in SSLC examination and aims to Join in IITs. “I worked very hard, I used to get up early and study daily and I gave all the subjects equal importance, he added. He further said that the revision of syllabus more than once in school helped me a lot.

Partha  Pai wants to become a successful Engineer and with a scores like 124 in English, 99 in Kannada, 97 in Hindi and Mathematics, 100 in Science and Social Science, he might have crossed his first step to achieve his goal. His parents Pundalik Pai and Anjani Pai are euphoric about his achievement.
