Bhatkal: With Karnataka SSLC examination results for the academic year 2020-21 were announced on Monday, the Bhatkal taluk recorded pass percentage.

As many as 2466 students had enrolled for the exams in the Bhatkal and all have passed.

The toppers said exams were a challenge with the change in question paper pattern by shifting to MCQ format, which made them to work harder. 

The top 10 toppers from the Bhatkal taluk are Sitara Shaheen Qamruzamma Mohtesham of Naunihaal Central School, Bhatkal (99.04), Gayatri Moger of Anand Ashram Convent High School, Bhatkal (98.88), Suchitra Shet of St. Thomas High School, Shirali (98.88), Pavitra Irraya Gonda of Janatha Vidayala Shirali (98.72), Saniya Mohammed Iqbal Siddibapa of Anjuman Girls High School, Bhatkal (98.4), Bhavan Thimppa Gond of Government High School, Kuntwani (98.4), Harshita Naik of Moraji Desai School, Murdeshwar (98.4), Jiveta S Devadiga of The New English School, Bhatkal (98.4), Suprita Shetty of Siddhartha High School, Shirali (98.24), Meghana M Naik of The New English School, Bhatkal (98.08), Arzish Ismail Ugga of Anjuman Girls English Medium High School, Bhatkal (97.92), Nageshwata R Naik of Government High School, Bunder, Bhatkal (97.76), Amal Syed Mohiddina Sameer Shirbadi of Ali Public School, Bhatkal (97.76), Prateeksha Ganesh of Anand Ashram Convent High School, Bhatkal (97.6), Shravya M Shet of Anand Ashram Convent High School, Bhatkal (97.44), Shura Mohammed Bilal Shahid Shipai of Anjuman Girls English Medium High School, Bhatkal (97.28) and Keerti Uday Patil of RNS Vidyaniketan, Murdeshwar (97.28).

Among the toppers from English Medium, Sitara Shaheen Qamruzamma Mohtesham of Naunihaal Central School, Bhatkal topped with 619 marks (99.04%) standing first in Bhatkal.

Gayatri Moger of Anand Ashram Convent High School, Bhatkal and Suchitra Shet of  St. Thomas High School, Shirali secured 2nd position with 618 marks (98.88%) respectively.

Saniya Mohammed Iqbal Siddibapa of Anjuman Girls High School, Bhatkal scored 98.4% and stood third place.

Kannada Medium Toppers: Pavitra Irraya Gonda of Janatha Vidayala, Shirali scored 617 marks with 98.72% and stood top in Bhatkal taluk. Bhavan Thimappa Gond of Government High School Kuntwani, Harshita Naik of Moraji Desai School, Mudreshwar, Jiveta S Devadiga of The New English School, Bhatkal scored 615 marks with 98.4% respectively and stood second position and Meghana M Naik of The New English School Bhatkal scored 613 marks with 98.08% and managed to occupy 3rd place in the taluk.

Urdu Medium Toppers: Fathima Mahek of Government High School, Nawayath Colony, Bhatkal secured top position in Bhatkal taluk by scoring 557 marks with 89.12%. Mamajuni Areen of Anjuman Girls High School, Bhatkal scored 533 marks with 85.28% and Saniya Mahek of Government Urdu High School, Jamiya Jali, Bhatkal scored 521marks and bagged third place with 83.36%.
