Bhatkal: Mosques in Bhatkal reopened for prayers on Tuesday with all necessary precautionary measures. Mosques along with other places of worship also opened after two-and-half months long strict lockdown.

Worshippers at all the Mosques in the town, strictly maintained social distancing rule while offering prayers. The Mosque caretakers had made all the necessary arrangements to meet the new requirements of social distancing to check the spread of coronavirus.
 
Thermal screening of all the worshippers entering Mosques were strictly checked using scanner, whereas soaps for handwash were also facilitated at the entrance of the Mosques. Obeying to the instructions, the worshippers arrived Mosques performing Ablution from homes.

It may be recalled, in view of the nationwide lockdown to halt the spread of coronavirus, clerics had asked people not to gather in Mosques to offer prayers and, instead, offer prayers from home.
