Bhatkal: A delegation of Bhatkal's Kargedde residents met MLA Sunil Naik at his office in Shirali village and appealed to release funds to extend the concrete road work till the end of Masjid e Muzammil.

A delegation led by Press person Inayatullah Gawai, told MLA that the construction of road is underway in Kargedde, but the road condition near Masjid Muzammil is so bad that people cannot even walk and the situation worsens further during the monsoon season. He appealed the MLA to release additional funds so that the same road work can be extended up to Masjid Muzammil.

MLA Sunil Naik, who visited the spot earlier and examined the condition of the road, immediately announced Rs. 5 lakh from MLA’s fund to extend the road. He also called the Jali Pattan Panchayat chief officer Venu Gopal Shastri to work with the Engineer to estimate and start the work.
