Bhatkal: On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, the ex general secretary and active member of the Bhatkal-Jamaat-ul-Muslimeen, including the other prominent personalities of the town associated with various social institutions, Mr. Jaan Abdur Rahman, visited the Muthalli and Taland government schools few days back with the aim of spreading joy and happiness by donating Rs. 200 to each student.
Around 153 students of 2 government schools were filled with delight, when they were handed Rs 200 each by delegate members.
Further, he also provided Rs 30,000 to Muthalli government schools to purchase computers and Rs 20,000 to Taland government school for the purchase of water filters and other necessary requirements.
In addition to this, he also gifted Rs 200 each to 50 students from Lloyd Primary School, Moodbhatkal, 30 students of Benmadur and 42 students from Hirur School. He also donated Rs 10,000 for the purchase of drinking water filters at Hirur and Benmadur.
