Bhatkal: Bhatkal taluk has secured cent percent results in the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) SSLC examinations that were held in February. The results were announced today on Tuesday.

There are three schools in Bhatkal which are affiliated to ICSE syllabus among which all secured 100% result. Vidyanjali public school, which is located in Sagar road, Bhatkal has set a record of securing cent percent results since five consecutive years.

Among the toppers of Vidyanjali Public School, Vinuta Bhat topped the chart in the taluk by securing 96.33%, while Neeraj Naik and Rohit Mahale received 91.66% and 91.16% results respectively.

As far as the results of New Shams School is concerned, the school has achieved cent percent results since three consecutive years. Rabiya Maleha D/o Muhammed Muqeem Hallare scored 95.6% setting herself in the second place in the taluk. Aasim s/o Abdul Wadood Khayal and Kulsum D/o Mohiddin Khattal Muallim received 91.6%, and Hajira Elfa D/o Kiyafatullah Mulla got 90% result.

Beena Vaidya High School, which has been affiliated to ICSE this year, too received 100% results for the first time. Sudeep Venkatesh Naik, who scored 93.8%, placed third in the taluk.
