Bhatkal: Mushfira Shabandari, a student of Anjuman Institute Of Technology and Management (AITM) Bhatkal bagged 9th rank for the university in MBA examinations conducted by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgavi in 2018, said AITM Principal Mushtaque Bavikatte. 

Talking with SahilOnline, principal informed that Mushfira, a native of Manki village in Honnavar taluk, is a daughter of Waqar Shabandari and Mahenoor.

According to him, she scored 8.33 SGPA in the first sem, 8.33 SGPA in the second, 8.65 SGPA in third and 8.96 SGPA in the final sem. The aggregate being maintained at 8.57 SGPA.

She will be honoured at an convocation event on March 18th which will be inaugurated by Vice-President of India Venkaiah Naidu. The event will be chaired by Governor of Karnataka Vajubhai Vala, he added. 

Meanwhile, VTU will confer 64, 881 BE, 619 B Arch, 4,425 MBA, 1,801 MCA, 2,859 M Tech, 26 M Arch, 33 M.Sc (Engg) degrees and 418 PhD degrees to the research scholars.

The Management of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Principal & Staff of AITM congratulated the student Mushfira Shabandri for her brilliant performance and wished them best in their future endeavour.
