Bhatkal: Owner of Bhatkal's famous City light restaurant and a successful Hotelier, Nurul Ameen Mulla, died after meeting a tragic road accident between two cars on Naikankatte NH-66 in Byndoor taluk of Udupi district on Saturday, 31st August.

Nurul Ameen was a resident of Ashraya colony near Jamiabad in Bhatkal.

It is reported that Nurul Ameen was returning from Mangaluru airport after dropping his younger brother at  3 AM, during which a speeding car heading from the opposite direction rammed into his car. The incident happened at around 9:30 AM on Saturday. Initially, Nurul Ameen sustained critical injuries and was immediately rushed to Kundapur hospital, but unfortunately he succumbed to it.

It was learnt that Nurul Ameen was alone in the car at the time of accident. The impact of collision was such that both cars were seen damaged severely in the front position.

The body of Nurul Ameen was handed over to family members after conducting post mortem at Kundapur government hospital.

The City light hotel on Bhatkal's national highway is a successful and a famous restaurant which is being run since last 20 years.
