Bhatkal: An NRI of Bhatkal and a well-known businessman of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad Qamar Sada has been appointed as a co-ordinator for the Uttara Kannada district from Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee's (KPCC) NRI cell for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

This was announced by the KPCC NRI department's chairperson Dr. Arathi Krishna. According to the announcement, Qamar Sada will be coordinating the Non-residential Indians (NRIs) from across the Uttara Kannada district, who will be arriving India from various countries especially to cast their vote.
