Mangaluru: As many as 22 tents of labourers built illegally on the banks of River Nethravathi in Thumbe and Innoli were demolished in a drive launched by Bantwal Tahsildar Rashmi S R.

The Mines and Geology department had raided a sand extraction site at Pudu in Bantwal taluk and seized three boats.
