Bantwal: A report has been received from Bantwal, where the members of right wing activists allegedly assaulted the minority youths accusing them of distributing sweets for the people participated in the celebration of Indian Independence Day.

Reports said that every year on the occasion of Independence Day, the minority youths organize a procession marking the celebration of Independence Day and also distribute sweets among the participants. But shockingly, this year, a group of right wing activists opposed this and came front condemning the act of distributing sweets and as a result, the situation gave an ugly turn as confrontation started between both the groups. Other than assault, there were also some of the shameful words being heard from right wing activists saying minority youths to go away Pakistan.

As the information was alerted, police personnel rushed to the spot and controlled the situation. The injured youths of both the groups got admitted into a hospital for treatment.

It was also learned that the members of both the groups later compromised on the matter.
