Mangalore: In a gruesome road accident that happened in between bike and the car, the bike rider was killed instantly on the spot, that took place on 6th July, Thursday, here on KC road near Kalladka.

The deceased bike rider has been identified as Muhammad Owais (20), a resident of Kaikamba. Sources informed that the victim was returning to his home from the relatives house in BC road. 

It was learned that the car which was moving towards Mani from Kalladka, hit the bike in such a horrible way that the rider was separated from the bike and breathed his last on the spot. After the incident, the car fled the scene.

The Bantwal traffic police sub-inspector Chandrashekar along with his team rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigations and also the case was registered.
