Karwar: A private bus plying from Bengaluru to Goa fell into a channel located across the roadside. The incident happened on the morning of 24th July, Monday at Maagod cross in Yellapur taluk, comes under Uttara Kannada district. Luckily, all passengers in the bus were reported safe.

Sources informed that the accident took place when the bus driver observed that a lorry is trying to overtake another lorry and the road is narrow curving, he tried to bring the bus to the end of the side, due to which he lost control of the vehicle and wheels were fell into a ditch. The bus Sea Bird travel contained nearly 32 passengers traveling to Goa from Bengaluru.

Luckily, none were injured. Later another bus was arranged for the passengers and made to move to Goa. 

Yellapur police rushed to the spot and conducted the necessary investigations.

A case has been registered in Yellapur police station.
