As many as fifty thousand people have invested their money in this company, and to legally fight to get back their money, a committee has been formed and registered.

Talking with media person, Joint secretary of the newly formed committee Safeer Ahmed said that, Under the guidance of APCR Karnataka chapter President Advocate Usman P, Secretary Advocate Muhammad Niyaz Ahmed, and former Public Prosecutor at Karnataka High Court and a senior Advocate B T Venkatesh, an association by name 'IMA Depositors Welfare Association' has been formed, and the committee is giving membership to people affected by IMA.

In this regard, a meeting was chaired in Bengaluru on Wednesday, 2nd October, in which the representatives of the committee were elected. Dr Saleem Unnisa was elected as President of the committee, while Saleem Ahmed as General Secretary. Najma Rafique and Safeer Ahmed Khan named as Joint Secretary, whereas Riyaz Ahmed Khan as the Treasurer.

Speaking to press persons, Joint Secretary Mr. Safeer Khan said that the meeting was held last month under the aegis of APCR Karnataka chapter to provide legal assistance to the victims of IMA. About 1800 people from across the state had registered their names in it. At the meetings that followed, it was decided that individual legal struggles would waste people's time and thus they may end up spending money on lawyers. Therefore, it was decided that a committee be formed and registered to have a legal fight. Accordingly, the committee was formed and the office bearers were elected to operate the association. He said that this committee has the full support of senior lawyers of high court, especially from the APCR.

Safeer Khan has requested all people affected by the IMA to fill the form of this committee and become a member. There is a nominal fee for the membership. He has requested thousands of victims from Karnataka including those residing in gulf to fight the case lawfully by obtaining membership of this committee.
