Seth Godin once said, "Leadership is the art of giving people a platform for spreading ideas that work." The above words skillfully summarize the spearheading achievements of Sir Jayaram Komati and his determined efforts to uplift the people of Andhra Pradesh.  As The Special Representative for North America, Jayaram Komati has worked alongside the Government of Andhra Pradesh in their initiative of development and improvement of facilities through a project named ‘A.P Janmabhoomi’.

The A.P Janmabhoomi Project mainly consists of 3 main schemes: Digital Classrooms, Anganwadi Centers and Crematoriums. With no Government who has ever taken such dynamism, the Andhra Pradesh Government provides this platform by providing 70% of the total cost. The rest 30% is funded by NRIs who want to help the motherland. The Special Representative for North America as well as the government of the state work towards a brighter future for the state.

Needless to say, Janmabhoomi project has grown manifold due to Jayaram Komati’s leadership. The digitization of education has led to a more active classroom environment with higher learning opportunities, and the Anganwadi system has promoted public healthcare for infant, children and lactating/pregnant women. The building of proper crematoriums has solved the major issue of respectfully carrying out the final rites of the deceased members of rural societies.  However, Jayaram Komati has always been keenly involved in philanthropy. His immense will and motives for the betterment of the society are depicted in his activism in social roles for humanity. His position as Trustee in ‘Cure a Little Heart’ Foundation and Chairmanship of Swagat  foundation are evident of the same, as they continue to spread good in the world through their noble efforts. 

Janmabhoomi as a social initiative has proved to include some particularly exceptional ideas in its way of working. From the 30% funding by NRI’s to the intern program, Janmabhoomi has continued to find new ways to execute ideas that benefit the people from remote and disadvantaged areas. Evidently, Jayaram Komati has proved to be a visionary through his headship in the government’s project. His consistent and relentless effort for the same has also earned him earned him the Chairmanship and the President’s position in Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) of Northern California - 2001- 2003 - 2005. His journey of becoming the secretary, convene, ultimately leading to the President's stature in Telugu Association of North America (TANA) is very inspirational and incredible.

It is said that, ‘The best way to predict the future is to invent it’. Mr. Jayaram Komati views every challenge on the same lines, and his admirable work at raising the project of Janmabhoomi is clear evidence of the same.
