Bhatkal: The 22nd annual sports meet of Anjuman BBA and BCA College, Bhatkal was held here at Anjumanabad Ground. Mr. Sameer Sakkaf,  Alumini of Anjuman and Senior Manager, Du Telecom, UAE, was the chief guest of the programme, who inaugurated the meet by hoisting the college flag. 

The athletic meet began with a splendid march-past led by students.

In his address, he said, sports is not just winning or losing, it is part of personality development. Sports teaches a value of time, when you are in race it shows a time value by millisecond also. It encourage team work, it makes you self discipline, it teaches you how to celebrate victory, it teaches how to observe losses, how to improve yourself qnd so on.

"Sports itself is a career, many colleges and university offering  Master courses. Sports quota for jobs are there where state and central government are offering jobs", he added.

Anjuman Degree College Secretary Mohsin Shabandri Presided over the event.

General Secretary Siddique Ismail, Additional Secretary Ishaque Shabandri, College Secretary Aftab Qamri, Principal Mohammed Mohsin K, Physical Director Mohan Mesta, Student Secretary Hidayat Ruknuddin, Management Event Secretary Usman Mulla, Sports Secretary Salman and many others were present.
