Bhatkal: Around 50 meritorious students belonging to Madina colony were honored with the awards in an 'Annual day celebration' event organized by Madeena welfare society here at Bhatkal. The administration committee was also formed on the occasion. 

The program was presided over by the former principal of Anjuman degree college Professor Hashim Zardari. Addressing the gathering, he stressed upon the students to take part actively in civil services.

The students were congratulated for their achievements in various fields of education. Hundreds of people including Islamic scholars witnessed the event.
