Bhatkal: The annual social gathering of Anjuman Girls High School (AGHS), Basti Road, Bhatkal and Anjuman Girls English Medium High School (AGEMHS), Nawayath Colony, Bhatkal was celebrated jointly on 1st December, Sunday, here at Bhatkal, in which 'Batool-e-Anjuman' and 'Dukhtar-e-Anjuman' awards were given to the respective outstanding students.
‘Batool-e-Anjuman’ was awarded to Taskeen Tarab D/o Hidayatullah Budan Khan of Anjuman Girls High School, Basti road, Bhatkal, whereas ‘Dukhtar-e-Anjuman’ award was conferred to Fathima D/o Abdullah Shabandri of Anjuman Girls English Medium High School, Nawayath Colony, Bhatkal.
Silver medals for eminent students for the year 2019-20 were awarded to Seeneen Barmawar D/o Mohammed Shuaib Barmawar of AGHS and Rihab Fakardey D/o Jameel Hussain Fakardey of AGEMHS respectively.
Both Headmistress Atiya Abdur Rahman RS of Anjuman Girls High School, and Saba Damda of Anjuman Girls English Medium High School delivered a brief report of their institution.
Present as the chief guest in the event, Dr. Deepthi V H, Asst Prof Departmentof Psychology, AJ Institute of Medical Science Mangaluru, addressing the gathering, directed students to apply day to day structure for their daily activities, which can help them out in reaching the goals. She advised the students not to stress themselves during the days of exams. Stating the quote "Practice makes man perfect", she explained how students can improve their power of memorization and concentration over studies. There are huge amount of opportunities for women to reach from house to satellite, just we have to aim high and fly", she noted.
Mrs Zaheeda Jaleel, Principal, Misbah Women's College Suratkal, was present as the guest of honor. Addressing the students she explained how one can achieve huge success with continuous implementation of efforts. She asked the students not to compare themselves with anybody else or vice versa. Each and everyone has their own personality, capabilities, talents and IQ levels. Hence it should be recognized and efforts should be made to boost them. Lastly, before concluding her speech, she lauded students for giving wonderful performances and wished for everybody's success in their academic studies.
The event was presided by Mrs Seema Khasimji, Member of Ladies Advisory Committee, Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen, Bhatkal.
The program began with the recitation of verses from Holy Quran by Rouza, Naat by Rahat Hafizka and group, Iflah and team sang the Anjuman Tarana song, while Miss Gulzar Shaikh welcomed guests and introduced the guest and Miss Parveen delivered the vote of thanks.
