Ankola: A truck carrying sacks of animal feeds fell off the bridge into Gangavali river in Ankola taluk on 16th July, Saturday night about 11pm. 

As per the sources, the truck was on the way towards Ankola from Mangalore when it fell 30 feet off the Gangavali bridge. In the mishap, the driver along with the other two people received multiple injuries and were taken to local hospital. Their condition is said to be out of danger. The feed sacks from the truck were seen floating in the water, it is reported.

In this regard, a case has been registered in Ankola police station and further investigations are on.
