Bhatkal: "Anjuman Arts, Science and Commerce college and PG Centre will be hosting the Karnataka University Inter-collegiate Single Zone Badminton Tournament on February 19, Tuesday", informed principal Mushtaq Ahmed in a press release held at a private hotel in Bhatkal, on Sunday 

He said, Director of Physical Education, Karnataka State Law University (KSLU), Dr. Khalid Khan, will be present as the chief guest in the event, while President of Bhatkal Community Jeddah, Askiri Mohammed Yaseen will be the guest of honour. Vice President — I of Anjuman Hami-e-Muslimeen, Damudi Abdur Raheem will preside over the event.

He further said that the event will last for three days and students from various colleges and institutions are expected to be participating in the tournament.

The event will commence at 9.30 am on Tuesday morning, at the Function hall in the college campus, and will be played in both men and women categories.

College Secretary Mohsin Shabandri, Principal Mustaque Shaikh, physical Director Kalemullah, Rotary Secretary Srinivas Padiyar, Professor A M Mulla were present.
