Bhatkal: Two-day seminar on 'Challenges of Muslim Minorities Institutions' will be organized by Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen as a part of its centenary celebration here at Anjumanabad on 17th and 18th of August 2019.
In this regard, a meeting was chaired at Jukaku Shamsuddin hall on Sunday 7th July, in which the managing bodies and delegates of various Muslim run educational institutions located in Uttara Kannada, Udupi and Dakshina Kannada had participated. The forthcoming seminar is expected to focus on 'Challenges of Muslim Minorities Institutions and Its Solutions' in which Karnataka State Ministers are expected to be accompanying the seminar.
Convenor of the centenary celebration, Maulavi Abdur Raqeeb MJ Nadvi, on this occasion, said, we have to focus on empowerment of women education especially in the field of science for those who obtain distinction results in SSLC. We also need to look out on how to avail education for the disabled students. Education nowadays is getting polarized, which need to stop completely. We have fundamental rights with us which we can utilize and demand our needs from the government. We also need to focus on how our students can attain knowledge in the field of technology especially with electronic media as such.
General secretary of Anjuman, Ismail Siddique, said, we have a hostel facility for minority students. There are plenty of facilities being provided by the Anjuman for Urdu Medium, and Anjuman is always ready for its development and promotion. "We have many experienced and senior faculties, if any minority run organization want them, the Anjuman is ready to cooperate for it", he added.
Addressing the presidential speech, Jukaku Abdur Raheem Saheb, said, the only aim of Anjuman is to provide quality education. But along with that, we want to establish a better relationship with Muslim minority institutions to bring them on a single platform. We want to share our experience with them and in this regard, this two-day seminar is being conducted. Raising of fund for educational institutions is a very complicated task and research will be done on how can we overcome this issue, he briefed.
Speaking through video conference online from Dubai, Bhatkal community leader Dr SM Syed Khaleelur Rahman opined that we have to focus on standardizing our education system. The dropout students should be gathered and encouraged them to pursue technologically based education.
The principal of Anjuman Engineering college Mushtaq Ahmed Bhavikkate explained about the conference through the projector, while Anjuman additional secretary Isaaq Shabandari delivered a vote of thanks.
In the meeting, officials and representatives of Anjuman Hami e Muslimeen and delegates of various other educational institutions including Maulana Ubaidullah Kandloori Nadvi, Muhammad Ismail Mohtisham, Er Hafiz Qazi Nazeer Ahmed, Maulana Talha Ruknuddin Nadvi, Maulana Aminuddin Gowda and others were present. Delegates of Muslim run educational institutions from Kumta and Sirsi too had attended the meeting and gave their valuable feedback and expressed best wishes for the upcoming seminar.
