Sirsi: In a shocking incident, Minister of State for Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Ananthkumar Hegde shared the dais with Fayaz Chavati who is the president of local unit of M R Brothers organisation and is accused of involving in various crimes, at a programme here on Monday.

Hegde, who was attending a programme to promote Modi organised by M R Brothers organisation, said that there many been many organisations which have joined hands with the BJP in nation-building. Though there were differences in ideology among many organisations, there were no confusions when it came to development.

It can be mentioned here that Fayaz Chavati has 34 cases registered against him in various police stations. His name also finds a place in the list of rowdy-sheeter prepared by the Market station police. This was revealed by Fayaz himself in the affidavit filed by him with the nomination papers during the previous Assembly elections. Fayaz had filed his papers from Sirsi-Siddapur assembly constituency but later withdrew.
