Bhatkal: A boat which had boarded for fishing activity in the Arabian sea in Bhatkal, managed to return to the port safely after it got trapped in the high tides and strong winds here on Thursday.

A boat by name 'Green Silver' of Mangaluru began to sail to Bhatkal port, sensing threat of strong hurricanes in the sea while fishing. But in the meantime, the boat near the deep rocks started overturning for several times. However, due to the constant efforts of the fishermen, the boat reached the port safely.

Following the heavy rains and strong winds in the Arabian sea, fishermen have been warned not to enter the sea for the next 48 hours.
