Haliyal: The much awaited demand of Dalit organizations to  come in reality as per the  decision of District In-charge minister RV Deshpande. 

Mr. Deshpande agreed to build an Ambedkar Bhavan of worth Rs 5 crore, at a centrally situated site in Haliyal. President of the Federation of Dalit Organisations Chandrakant Kadrolli thanked Deshpande for the gesture and requested him to fix an early date for the foundation laying ceremony of the bhavan.
