Karwar: More seven cases of  Covid-19 were reported in Uttara Kannada district on Friday and all of them are those who are in institutional quarantine.

According to the new patients include an eight-year-old boy, 10-year-old girl, two men aged 22, 62 and 49, and two women aged 29 and 25. The 29-year-old woman had returned from Andhra Pradesh while the rest were those who had come from Maharashtra. While six people are from Yellapur, one is from Bhatkal. All are being treated at the Karwar Institute of Medical Science (KIMS) hospital.
