Dubai: Seven people were killed and thirteen others injured in a horrific early morning accident on Emirates Road involving a bus and a truck on Tuesday.

The injured passengers suffered moderate to major injuries and were immediately transferred to hospital, Dubai Police has said.

The truck was already involved in an accident with a pick-up and was parked in an undesignated area, which resulted in the second accident, in which the bus transporting labourers crashed into it.
