Karwar: Six cases of Covid-19 were reported in Uttara Kannada district on Tuesday.

This includes three persons from Yellapur, and one each from Bhatkal, Mundgod, and Honnavar taluks.

Except for the 30-year-old man from Mundgod who had returned from Delhi, all the other five are Mumbai returnees. All were in institutional quarantine.

The 49-year-old woman from Yellapur had come in primary contact with a Covid-19 patient. Both of them had returned from Mumbai. 

Until Tuesday, 120 cases have been reported in Uttara Kannada district and 93 of them have recovered.

The remaining 27 patients are under treatment at the Covid Ward set up in Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences.
