Karwar: Six fresh cases of Covid-19 were reported in Uttara Kannada district on Monday.

While five of them had returned from Mumbai and were in quarantine, one had returned from Bengaluru. They include a 60-year-old woman from Honnavar, 75-year-old man from Bhatkal, 19-year-old woman from Jagalpete in Joida taluk, 13-year-old boy and 25-year-old youth from Yellapur and 50-year-old from Siddapur.

Meanwhile, six people including a 10-year-old boy from Honnavar recovered and were discharged from the hospital on Monday. As on Monday, there were 32 active Covid cases in the district and all of them are asymptomatic.
