Dubai: A 5-Year-Old Bhatkali child lost his life after he went drowning at a swimming pool in Dubai on Friday evening.
The deceased is identified as Muhammad Shabandari s/o Shabandari Muhammad Aseem (PMG).
It is reported that the boy was swimming with the children at the kids' pool on the third floor of the 'Al Ghurair residential building' in Dubai, while about eight people were swimming in the main pool.
No one was aware about when did the boy jumped into the main swimming pool. A few minutes later, when the boy was noticed drowning, he was pulled out immediately from the pool. It was reported that the boy was breathing when he was taken out of the pool, but the condition had went critical. With the help of police, he was immediately taken to Dubai Hospital through Ambulance.
Muhammad Shabandari was kept in ICU for around one and half hours, and the Doctors repeatedly tried their efforts to save him, but failed. According to the Dubai timings, at around 9:30 PM (11:00 PM Indian Standard Timings) he was declared dead.
Muhammad Shabandari was a student of KG-2 at Central School in Dubai.
On receiving the news of the boy's death, a large number of Bhatkal residents staying in Dubai and UAE rushed to the hospital and condoled the parents of the child.
It is to be noted that the body will be handed over to the family members after completion of paperwork.
